Terms and conditions
Payment terms
An initial starting payment will be required at the time of booking to secure your place in our work diary. Invoices (stage payments) will be raised on the 21st of every calendar month to cover the costs of materials and labour incurred up to that point in time. This monthly invoice must be paid and cleared at our bank within 7 calendar days of being issued. Interest will be charged at 2% above the current lending rate of Barclays bank on all overdue accounts. Non payment of stage payments will cause the immediate cessation of work, and all outstanding monies will become due from the date of cessation. Non payment will also disrupt the flow of work as staff will be put onto other jobs and may not be available for starting when the stage payment is finally made.
All materials remain the property of Keymer Landscapes Ltd until payment in full has been made, and monies cleared at our bank. Keymer Landscapes Ltd reserve the right to access to the site to remove said materials in the event of dispute or non payment.
Access
The client is responsible for the provision of free and suitable access to the site at all reasonable times. No responsibility can be accepted for damage to any surface in the course of access or work, although reasonable precautions will be taken wherever possible.
Turf
All turf must be watered at least every 24 hours until established, and no traffic allowed for at least 4 weeks. No responsibility can be accepted for death or shrinkage of turf once Keymer Landscapes Ltd have left the site.
Paving works
Paving and any concrete or mortar products will only be laid when the weather permits, this is usually when the temperature is 3c and rising although this can vary with different products. Please speak to Tim for clarification on this point.
